Is your first act of the day to pray? If the answer is no you might want to give it a second thought. A simple prayer of thanks, asking for the strength and wisdom to act as Jesus would in the day ahead can make a huge difference in your attitude and your attitude can change how you act.
Opening a door for someone, smiling at a stranger or letting a car go ahead of you may seem like a small, insignificant act. But your action may change someone else's attitude and actions for the better. That person may pass that thoughtful act on to someone else. Your simple act of kindness could cause a chain reaction of positive actions that go on all day long. Isn't that wonderful feeling to carry in your heart!
Lord help us to remember that You can work through the smallest act of kindness to create a chain reaction of Your love. Amen.
