Psalm 103:1-2 Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.

With all the griping and moaning we may hear because of this confinement and overly restrictive life we have led, we should remember that we have many reasons to be grateful. I’m sure you can think of a lot of them, if you put your mind to it, and you should—put your mind to it. I’m not thinking about things we can buy, or presents we may receive. I’m thinking of all the things that are free, that tickle our fancy, that pleasure our senses, that are . . . well, free.

A father’s four-year-old daughter came running to him crying, “Daddy, am I nothing?”

He sat her on his lap, calmed her down, and, with love and compassion, began to repair a sibling rivalry of unknown proportions.

“Don’t believe everything your brother yells at you. Remember, you are each a child of God. He loves both of you and he chose you, specifically, to be our daughter. And he gave you a very special gift.”

Her eyes widened and, with a hiccup, stopped crying. “A special gift?”

“Mmm hmmm. Remember when you fell on the jungle gym at the playground and you cut your arm? What did we do to fix it?”

“Mommy hugged me and you put a bandage on it. I remember; it really hurt.”

“Show me where that cut was on your arm.”

She held out both arms. The look on her face was comical. “Which arm? My left one?”

“Yeah, your left one. Now, show me. Where was the cut?”

She stared at her arm for a time, rubbed it up and down as though she were trying to feel the wound, twisted it around, and finally threw up her hands. She smiled and confessed, “I don’t know. It’s gone.”

“That’s because God has given you an amazing body—it can heal itself.”

A look of wonder covered her face as she whispered, “I’m special. God loves me.”

“Yeah, and tonight, in your prayers, we’ll thank God for his gift.” He gave her a squeeze and released her to run and tell her brother the “good news.”

Have you thanked God for the many things—miraculous and mundane—in your life? The list is longer than you know and it calls for heart-felt praises of “Thank You.” We all have wounds, some healed through forgiveness, some unhealed but hidden deep, still affecting our lives, and some plainly showing. Thank God, daily cleansing and recovery is available.

However, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey, the real life-saving answer is the same. There are parts of you that need the Healer; but, He desires your willful desire for successful healing.

So, let The Healer use His miraculous gift in your life. Watch: Heal Me
