Our Space-Time World
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12
I love it when someone else’s devotion is exactly what I need to hear for the day. Sarah Young has written this message for all of us.

Exalted Jesus,
Help me to follow You one step at a time. I know this is all You require of me. I fact, I realize that the only way I can move through this space-time world is to take one step after another. But as I look ahead, I see huge mountains looming and I start wondering how I will ever be able to scale those heights. Meanwhile, because I am not looking where I’m going, I stumble on the easy path where You’re leading me right now. As You help me get back on my feet, I tell you how worried I am about the cliffs up ahead.
You lovingly remind me that I don’t know what will happen today, much less tomorrow. Our path may take an abrupt turn, leading me away from those peaks. Or there may be an easier route up the mountains that is not visible from this distance. I know that if You do lead me up the steepest way, You will equip me thoroughly for that strenuous ascent. You will even command Your angels to guard me in all my ways.
I really want to stay focused on the present journey, enjoying Your Presence. Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight—trusting You to open up the way before me.
In Your compassionate Name,
Amen
