Helllllloooo church family! This is Devon and Emma coming in with today’s blog post! Devon’s high was touring the Mardi Gras Museum of Costumes and Culture and trying on various unique Mardi Gras costumes. Her low was that her mac and cheese from lunch was too peppery and her burger for dinner seemed more mystery than actual meat. 🙁

Emma’s high for the day was also the Mardi Gras costume museum, trying on outfits and watching Brad during the [audience participated] parade. She also loved all the shopping the group did in the French Quarter. Her low was a passing steam boat honking the horn and it being very loud that she burst into tears.

The girls saw God today when the said steam boat horn was an encouraging horn to keep walking after already 30 minutes of walking to get to dinner. Also seeing all the homeless people in the French quarter allowed us to realize what we take for granted and how grateful we are that we had a hotel to go back to, a home, cold water, food, etc. Overall today was a fantastic day and we are so excited for what’s to come!
