Pretzel Sale this Sunday May 7
We will be selling soft pretzels after worship on May 7; approximately 11am. (Worship is at 10am).
Did you know? Pretzel Sales benefit the Scholarship Fund which awards graduating seniors a gift from the church. This year’s sales are providing for future graduation years. All youth families grades 7 and up are invited to help us continue this “pay it forward” activity.
Sr Hi Youth Group Cancelled this Sunday 5/7
The summer is almost here! Please mark your calendar for May 21 Sr High Youth Group. We’d love to extend and invitation to our rising 9th graders and all other Sr High youth to join us.

July 10-13 6-8:30pm
Registration is open to participate in our summer vacation Bible school. We have opportunities for youth and adults to participate as Program Leaders, Skit Actors, Crew Leaders and assistant leaders in all areas. The past 2 summers we had 15 youth engaged in teaching, encouraging and playing with the children who attended. It’s a great way to practice leadership, communication and presentation skills. (NHS and JrNHS students can record service hours and it looks great on job and college applications!)
We’d love to have you and your friends join us again! We’d love to help you find your fit! Descriptions of the available positions are in the VBS Online Registration system or you can reach out to Janet Hilsmier directly. There’s also plenty of prop building and set decorating to do in advance, and we’d love help with that as well! Come on, join us!
Sr. High Summer Mission Trip – July 16-22
Our Senior High Youth will be heading on a Mission Trip to Breathitt County, Kentucky! We will be working on repairs from the devastating floods in the summer of 2022. Our team of 14 includes 5 youth and 8 adults. Please keep us in your prayers for safe travel and experience. Join us at worship on July 23 for a mission trip recap!
Save the Date! The ELCA National Youth Gathering will be held July 16-21, 2024
We’ll be heading to New Orleans in 2024! We will have informational meetings about the Youth Gathering later this Summer and in the Fall. This event is for all youth grades 8 through 12 in the ‘23-24 school year. Chaperones will also be needed, so Moms & Dad: think about how you can experience this with your sons/daughters!
